Welcome to my world of creativity and spontaneity through the lens. I'm Ryan Avery, a passionate photographer, creative designer, apparel maker, video editor and more who thrives on capturing the extraordinary in the everyday. I was born and raised in York, Maine and have children who attend York Schools and play local sports. SInce elementary school i can remember being fascinated with cameras. My photography journey really took off at York High School and continued to Maine College of Art followed by several classes later in life. With an innate love for experimentation and a knack for adapting to any setting, I try to bring a unique blend of creativity and grit to every project. My photography journey is a tapestry of diverse interests and styles. From captivating portraits to the allure of fashion, glamour and studio work, I find inspiration in every frame and enjoy capturing people. I'm not one to be confined by genres or limitations, I'm always open to new challenges and opportunities. Drones take my lens to new heights, capturing breathtaking aerial views. Real estate photography tells the story of spaces waiting to be discovered. Events and candids freeze moments in time, full of life and emotion. Sports photography channels the energy and excitement of the game, while senior portraits commemorate the transition into a new chapter of life.
